9 in the morning and I've already started dinner...

So, at nine in the morning, I started dinner.
45 minutes later I have the mix in the fridge to chill.

What am I making?
Croquettes. .3.

So, last night when I went to go make dinner, we went at bought some fish, though the store was closing, so we were a bit rushed and didn't check the fish after we bought it.
After we got home and I went to rinse the fillets we noticed when we opened the bag it smelled rancid.
Now we had bought red snapper, and red snapper is not supposed to smell distinctively fishy but this reeked.
So I rinsed the first fillet and it was okay. Now the bag still reeked, so I figured it was just from having been in a closed container with other fish.
God no. This fish fillet was old, dry, and probably rotting. Well we couldn't take it back last night because it was around 8:20 then and the store we got it from closed at 8...
So now we have to take it back today but until my mother gets out of class at 3 the rancid fish has to stink up my fridge.
Hell no.
It reeks and the fridge is going to start smelling soon.
All I wanted to do was put some red snapper in my Japanese style clear soup. But no. Instead I had to use the tofu I was planning to grill tonight to put in the soup.
All because that store gave me rancid fish.

Anyway.
So for tonight I am making croquettes but I don't know what else now.
I think I might heat back up the left over soup and serve some.
I think I will have to go back to the store and buy more tofu to grill it...e-e
I was at the store for two hours last night. I don't wanna go back. e-e
So, croquettes, soup, rice, tofu, and some fruit.
For the fruit I'm thinking probably some strawberries, grapes, and nectarines. Ah, that means I need to go buy a few fresh mint leaves so that I can dress up the fruit properly. e-e"

No. I do not have to evacuate. The fire is about 15-20 miles from me. So I'm really out of harm. Unlike the Hayman Fire of 2002. That was the fire I had to evacuate from.
